How We Serve the Community

The Office of the Provost is the central administrative hub for the Division of Academic Affairs. The provost, in partnership with the College’s dean and administrators, is responsible for maintaining high standards among students, staff, and faculty. The Provost serves as the College's chief academic officer.

The Office of the Provost works collaboratively with academic leadership and members of faculty to sustain a culture of excellence in the College’s curricula, teaching, and research to promote student academic growth and student success.

Faculty Resources

The provost and office work closely with faculty leadership for centers and internal governing bodies such as the RIC Faculty Council, Faculty Advising, Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning, Honors Program, and the Sherlock Center on Disabilities. Support is available on the Faculty Resources webpage.

Student Resources

Academic supports such as tutorial services are available via the Academic Success Center. Our academic deans and their administrative staff members can also be contacted for assistance with questions you may encounter on your academic to success.
